Thank You Liz, That definitely seam to be her sister, I'm sure my dad said her husbands name was George. Is there any possible way to pass on the children names ?
Elizabeth Taylor (the daughter) married Peter Bates, I think, I need to get all of my records out, I just thought I would do a post and not receive such quick responses.

Thank you

Hi Colin, that is what is on her birth certificate. There are a few possibilities of changing her surname remarrying as you say or even emigrating ? I have tried posting on ancestry before looking for her sisters family and got one possible lead from a lady in Cheshire who was doing some research on behalf of her mother in law (i think), but never got a reply after asking questions, after a few messages????
It's a bit like a needle in a haystack and I've been trying for quite a few years now, I was thinking about paying and agency ?
Thanks for the reply.

Hi I am looking for any family members of Eleanor Davison, She was my Dads Mother, my dad is now 91yrs old and I would love to find out what happened to her before its too late. She left my father around 1926-1928 and he never saw her again. Her sisters worked in London and Portsmouth so its possible she went there.Eleanor was called Nelly or Nellie by her family, she was born 3rd September 1901, her mother was Elizabeth Taylor Davison and her father was James Davison. Her sisters were Elizabeth
(Betty) Francis May, Margaret(Maude) and Doris her brothers were James and John. They were all born in Newcastle. She married Edward Robson in 1923 and my dad is (*) born 1924.
Thank you
