I tried using her married name although she wouldn't have been married then it came up with her surname crossed out and her married name put in and a date at the side which was the date she married my father so I think I have the right one now thanks

She was born in 1913 in blanaufestiniog but she was brought up in Llandudno

I have been trying to find my mother on 1939 register she doesn't seem to exist does anyone have any ideas how I kind find her she lived in Wales but came to Liverpool on the day war was declared

I am trying to find any information about my grandfather William Armstrong he was born in Liverpool England about 1875 he married Rachel burgess in 1896 his job was listed as marine fireman he was on 1901 census in Liverpool but after that he isn't on any other. Some years ago I was looking through some papers I had among them was a letter from a mr Parker of 11 Jeanette avenue Windsor Ontario saying my grandfather was working for him I would like to know did my grandfather settle in Canada or did he move on I would be grateful for any information

My grandfather was recorded on 1901 census in Liverpool he is not on 1911 census that has only my grandmother and her children his job in 1901 was listed as dock labourer ,they where married in July 1896 his job was listed then as a marine fireman

I had an aunt who told me very little but she remember,d him he used go away for months at a time but one time he never came back
