On the profile for William on Ancestry there is a marriage to Kate Russell in 1893.
There are no details or marriage records in that website.
The family details are correct according to 1901 census.

There is a marriage on their profile on Ancestry...
Believe that is the correct family on that census

Looking for information on the marriage of William Thomas Stratton born 1865 to Kate Russell born 1870 living in the Winchester area about 1893. Cant see anything on BMD. Any assistance appreciated.

Maybe. They need a copy of the cert to change a name on an airline voucher applied in her maiden name in error. We are currently in Gozo (Malta) not the UK!

It is my daughter & son in law. I applied for a copy of their marriage cert as theirs is lost & Govt UK cant find any record....and they married in the registry office in Weston super mare! Cant find any record on Ancestry either...I do not know where to try next! Open to suggestions guys! Many Thanks!

Thank you. The 1939 record was under the name Edith M Sopsed!
The death record probably the correct one.Appreciate the help David
