Apparently I am not familiar yet with how to comment on each individual post, I hope this works. If not, would love to get some solid genealogy on the Marr line from East Lothian, Dunbar :)
I have quite a lot from my ancestry.com but I haven't a clue if it is all correct.

Hello,

My 3rd great grandfather was also Captain William Marr of Dunbar, born 1812. I am new to rootschat so feel free to reply  :)
I believe Captain started the Marr families in Australia, I am from Henry Mawney Marr's line.
