hi all .. have just discover my fathers real father was in the Silver Hatchet gang in hull...His Surname was mellors.. but that's about all i know.. i have been told he lost a leg due to a accident involving a horse..  Apparently he was a very bad man according to my late uncle.. he apparently bribed his way out of prosecution.. he had a wife and family separate to my dad and his brother..  would love it if anyone knows anything about him .. been researching my family tree for years but this is a small breakthrough on my dads  parental side.. very much hoping some one can help or point me in the right direction to find out more ...
