Hello, I see this thread is a few years old, but I can add some info to help out those researching this family.
On the 1760 baptism for Isobel as a natural daughter to Thomas Stormonth in Kinclune, the mother can be found within the parish minutes on the website Scotlands People where Katharine Kinnimonth was made to give up the father's name as Thomas Stormonth in Kinclune who also confessed. I have not yet found any formal marriage, but the parish register may have been enough to imply a marriage to legitimise Thomas as Isobel's father evident by further legitimate children baptised.
Katharine is noted in the parish minutes as "in Broadfoord", matching first post of a Katharine born to John Kinniment "in Broadford".
I suspect Thomas Stormonth belonged to the 1713 baptism, son of Thomas Stormonth of Kinclune and Isobel, daughter of Alexander Hood in Reedie. I descend from David Stormonth and Jean Glenday and suspect David belonged to the 1764 baptism, son of Thomas and Katharine with a couple of DNA connections supporting a connection in the mid 1700s to other descendants of Thomas and Katharine. David was a Farm Servant in Kingoldrum notably on the farms of Landhead of Ascreavie and Newbegging, both were lands formerly tenanted by the elder Thomas Stormonth before he acquired Kinclune farm in 1727.
To answer the question of Broadford and any other question people have about place names, try using the maps service on the National Library of Scotland. They have maps from the 1800s which retained many old names from the 1700s and before. The 1862 map looks to correspond with the other posts mentioning a bridge. This is located on the road from Kingoldrum to Broadmuir and named "Broadford Br."
