Hello and thanks for your post - sorry for the delay, I have been attending the 1916 Commemorations and haven't had a chance to reply until today.
James Seery did have a younger sister called Kathleen. Her father was called John and her mother Catherine - both are buried at Glasnevin Cemetery, and it is possible to obtain the records should you wish. You might also be interested in the 1911 Census which lists the family at that point as John (Head of Family), Catherine (Wife), Mary Josephine (Daughter), James Patrick (Son), Teresa (Daughter), Kathleen (Daughter) & Patrick (Son).
