Greetings from Duxbury, Massachusetts. I need help with this man, I have him married to Mary McKay (Scotland Select Marriage records at ancestry.com) 9 July 1843. Trying to prove he is same Alexander Turner  and Mary Turner in US Census 1870 Newark, NJ. A birth record in Torqueer? Is there any record of his death in Troqueer? What are his parents names, William Turner b. 1771 1841 Scotland Census, Troqueer? Your assistance, records to chase is appreciated, Duxbury Pam

this may sound too simple, but do bride and groom need to list address/residence on the marriage record? Have you seen a direct copy of the application, or only a transcription? Pam Smith
