Thanks for the replies.

Fadge, that is my John Coulter.  I do have a copy of the will.  His son John came to Australia when he was very young.  I do not have any information about this family before John and his wife Jane Morrow.

BallyaltikilliganG, thank you for all the work, but I am researching Coulter (or sometimes Cultra) not Coulson.  Jane Morrow's father's name was Joseph, so that might be the one you found in the Tithe Applotment books.

I do not know how to research back from here.

Hi,

I am researching this family.  They come from Killinchy Wood, Killyleagh.

They had 9 children I believe and one, John, came to Australia in 1859.

I am interested in any history, but especially prior to this family.

I have just found this site.  I am also researching Hugh Warnock (my grgrgrandfather).  I am interested in information about the family in Ireland and Australia.  I have not been able to locate Hugh coming to Australia as yet.
