Hi Lynn,

I have been looking at your posts regarding Alexander Melville Anderson as he would have been my GG uncle... My GGG father was Robert Anderson ( m to Jean Melville)

I have replied on the post re Elsie Christie/Anderson and am a little unclear if you will be notified. She was my Great Aunt.

I do hope you get in touch.

regards

Kirsty

Will Lynnungarian also receive notification ... as she is even more closely related to me... and is looking for a direct descendant which I am!

If I could PM her too that would be great.

thanks

Kirsty

Thank you Monica , that would be useful. As you can probably see I was  careful not to post anything that could identify anyone still alive in my reply.

kind regards

Kirsty

Hi Lynn and Margaret,
I can confirm that Douglas Christie and Elspet( Elsie)  Lemans Anderson did have a child. She is no longer alive but her daughter and grand children are.
Elsie was my Great Aunt , my grandfather being her youngest brother, Alexander.
I am fascinated by the existence of photos of Elsie and her siblings and wonder which ones they are as my grandfather had no family photographs bar one tiny one of his father Robert as an old man.

I would love to hear from you and unravel a bit more of the family history of the Andersons, Lees and Melville families.

Kind regards

Kirsty
