Thank you kindly for the information. your research is good and likely is the correct information.
It would also match the Robert W. that can be found on my grandparents marriage cert.
Also i looked at Robert W a bit more and found that he lived at 37 bulstrode road ipswich, from his military records, which is where my grandparents lived for a short time as well. This was also right next to my great grandparents house at 35- also where my grandmother was born. given that my great grand aunt was married to a stapleton- I am sure it is all linked somehow and they got to know one another.

hi there, my great grand aunt Jennie/Jenny Balaam born to parents Thomas Balaam/Ann Balaam in 1891 ipswich was married to an Arnold Stapleton in 1920. They had 2 children Leonard Charles stapleton and mona evelyn stapleton. I am hoping to connect with some people who may be a bit more familiar with stapleton's than I am--- this is my starting point. on my grandmothers marriage certificate of 1945 A Robert W stapleton was a witness at their marriage. Marriage of L.T Humphries and Muriel J Balaam.

please get a hold of me if you have any info. thanks

HI all, I am new to roots chat and I am going to post my email here so you can get a hold of me directly if needed (*)
I would like to touch base with everyone regarding Balaam's because it is likely we are related.
My great grandfather was fred balaam b: jan 1893 in ipswich, parents thomas and ann balaam.
thomas balaam parents are jane- father unknown. Ann's parents are henry baalham and emma (hewes). I also recognize the name from my tree the john baalham who was married to susan(susanna) watson!
