Hello! My name is Jack Sibthorpe! I'm a  24 year old musician living in Australia, Canberra, and aware our family is from rural NSW, Around Gundagai etc. I believe that all of this information was eventually passed down to our family! As i can happily confirm, we had the very first Sibthorpe family reunion last year at our old pub (our family used to own, waldo sibthorpe?) In Gundagai.  Some of us (the aunties and uncles) were given family books! With every, single Sibthorpe in our line from 1850, Dublin. All the names you have mentioned earlier "Luke Holman Sibthorpe, G.H Sibthorpe" are familiar with me as I Jack Sibthorpe am a direct descendant of the line, we came to Australia in 1850 from Dublin. My father, Is named Richard George Sibthorpe, a servant for the Australian Airforce and an elite marathon runner in his time, as well as professional football player. His father was Mervin George Sibthorpe (Australian Airforce New guinea, world war 2, pacific campaign) and his father, bless his soul Gerge Henry Sibthorpe, who died in an artillery attack during the battle of Somme in world war 1, france. We still march every year for him, my beautiful sister and I, and we have a very proud heritage. Glad I stumbled upon this thread today, please don't hesitate to ask me anything or enquire about receiving a copy of the family book.
