James did have a sister Kate she married Francis Curley and died in Preston England in 1941 aged 80 so born 1860ish

James Crawford MEGAHY was born on November 20, 1855, in Ballinderry Lower, Antrim, Northern Ireland to Eliza Anne Crawford, age 29, and Richard MEGAHY, age 40.  Source a lady in the current Moravian church in co Antrim

Right beside or opposite 10 university road there was a Moravian church. Eliza's husband Richard was a scripture reader in several other  Moravian churches.

Many thanks for these, you were right when you said I might be aware of them. Except for Kate Megahy in Duncairn street.  The street no longer exists but on the street directories there was the great northern cooperative dairy.  I'd love to be able to confirm that Eliza Ann of university road is in fact my Eliza Ann .  It would be especially interesting as my cousins wife has a confectionery business too.
