Here is link to street map showing where No 60 was located...
https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=18.6&lat=56.45864&lon=-2.99076&layers=170&b=1&o=100

Also if you use https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk to search for your relatives name for age range...
under Valuation rolls you may find their records for what they were charged for rent... from what I seen there was 16 tenants in 1920... right up to the attic.......

Some of my annestors also lived at No 16 Annfield Road in 1911...

Good Luck with your research

Hello Jack..
You could have a look at
https://archive.org/details/recordsof90threg00delarich  you can download as PDF or whatever format suits...
Also you can check national archives..https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk
there is a James hart listed at but note sure if this is the correct one... the above history will give you a better idea where regiment was stationed during the time you are looking at.... I do believe they served in India so you could check medal rolls at the other address below below...

I will do.. very sad for my great grandmother losing her brother's so young, her father when she was 14, her mother at 15 and with two brother's to look after... must have been very difficult for her...
People nowadays no idea what people had to endure before the welfare state... .

I know what you mean about rabbit holes... I have had a few of these myself during family history research..

all the best

Hello Loord74
Seen the other pictures you magically restored with amazing detail and would like to ask if you could do similar for the attached image of my wife's great uncle George Bell 30th Sept 1916. He was killed at the start of the Battle of Loos 25 September to 8 October 1915 with the 4th Black Watch which decimated the regiment recruited for Dundee.. to this day the war memorial on the Law is illuminated to remember this battle.. his father was only told he had died a year after the battle..
You can read more here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-34289582

We would be so gratefully if you could as his body was never recovered and this is the only picture we have of him. His memorial in France is only on a wall plague with his name inscribed..

Mark W
