Hello, I am a Briggs and my father grew up in Grenfell. His uncle was Sid Briggs, who's father was George Briggs and they were in Young. I have recordings from both Sid and George from the National Library. They are incredible to listen to. If you never track them back any further it wouldn't matter after listening to these recordings, but if you have I would love to hear from you. One last thing, I grew up thinking I liked music because of my maternal ancestors...perhaps because my dad died quite early, but I now know differently. Amazingly talented bunch the Briggs's!
