Gosh that's really brought what was seemingly somewhat of a lost cause back to life, brilliant.

Technical Help / Re: USB charger
« on: Monday 10 November 25 15:42 GMT (UK)  »
As I understand it USB cables are capable of dealing with a range of voltages ie from 5-20volts.  However, the individual USB sockets can vary eg USB 2 and 3 are 5volts whilst USB c can be anything from 5-20volts.  As long as the cable you have fits both the flosser and the charger then all should be well.

Nottinghamshire / Re: Temperance Hotel, Barker Gate, Nottingham 1880s
« on: Friday 10 October 25 17:21 BST (UK)  »
I note you intend to visit the Nottingham archives.  perhaps check out the following https://picturenottingham.co.uk/image-library/image-details/poster/ntgm005529/posterid/ntgm005529.html

There was another hotel like the one seen here on Shakespeare Street and Lester's Temperance Hotel on Hounds Gate. A Temperance Movement Hall was designed by the renowned Nottingham Architect Watson Fothergill but never built. Watson Fothergill also built a Coffee Tavern for the Temperance Movement in Hucknall (1884).

Maybe the Coffee Tavern which may have been in Barkergate Hucknall is the establishment you are searching for.

 Agreed.

Could well be a celebrity visiting, they have what looks like a news reel camera set up on the other side of the road.
