Hi!
It's been awhile. I found Margaret Gibson (Anderson and Janet's daughter). After she came to Canada with her mother, she married Arthur Neville Lister Blackmore. They lived in British Columbia, Canada. She died September 23, 1971 in White Rock, B.C. Her and Arthur had a daughter Flossie in 1912. It seems Flossie married and moved to the state of Washington, U.S.A. Arthur was born March 9, 1886 in London, England. He died August 6, 1978 in Surrey, B.C., Canada

The family rumour is that George did not know that his sister was really his mother. George was raised by his grandparents Anderson and Janet. In the early 1960's, my father-in-law Wayne's received a letter from a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand on behalf of a Janet Cook who was supposedly George Gibson's mother. Janet Cook had died. Wayne received enough money from her estate that he was able to buy farmland in The province of Alberta, Canada.

Hi.
I have the same birthdates for each of these Anderson Gibson's who came to Canada. The Anderson Gibson who was born in 1856 died December 1, 1940 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Hi!
I am married to the great-grandson of the Anderson Gibson that came to Canada. He farmed in the province of Saskatchewan. His son George farmed with him and His son Wayne was my father-in law. Wayne farmed in The province of Alberta, Canada. He is now deceased. I am married to his eldest son Greg who farmed with him and continues to farm. My family tree is on Ancestry.ca under the Kuich family tree. Anderson died in 1940 and is buried in Potter's field in Tisdale, Saskatchewan because his son and his family could not afford to pay for his burial. George died of Spinal meningitis in 1948 and left behind his wife Gladys with 6 children, including 6 month old twin boys. My father-in-law was 15 when George died. Wayne and his wife Pearl had 5 children, the eldest being my husband Greg. Greg and I have two sons and the. Adopted a girl. Our eldest son is married and has given us 2 grandsons so the Gibson line thrives in Alberta!
