Hi everyone

I have reached an "impasse" with my Nuttall line in Haslingden.  I can't get past Stephen Nuttall (1660) who married Marian Brindle in 1683 in Haslingden. Her father appears to be James Brindle.

Are there no records for earlier "Nuttalls"to be found?  I have found the Nuttall name earlier than 1660 in Haslingden, but can't "connect the dots".

Goodness sakes, there are a lot of "Nuttalls" in the Haslingden area!!

I would very much appreciate any help.  Thanks.

Wicklow / Langrell/Pierce family of Wicklow

I am search for the family of Edward Langrell born in Wicklow July 29, 1846.  He came to Canada, alone, as a young man and married there.  His middle name was "Pierce" which could be his mother's maiden name.  Would anyone have a record of a Langrell marrying a Pierce pre 1826?

Opps wrong generation.  A child of William and Susanna is Adam Sheldon July 31, 1786,  born in Bonsail, and married  Dorothy Boden January 1, 1816 in Bonsail.

One of their children is Adam Sheldon b.c1822 in Bonsail, who married Martha?.  I don't know when they were married of what her maiden name is.  That's another mystery!

Hi ;)

I am looking for a record of the birth and families of James Patterson and Violet Thomson.  They were married July 25, 1819 in Wilton or Kirktown, Roxburgh, Scotland (I don't know how close these places are to one another but according to two records it gives two different places in Roxburgh.  They had a son, William, who was born about 1830 in Scotiland. He later moved to Canada.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

I am looking for the birthdates and family of William Sheldon and Susanna Greenbough who were married in Matlock, Derby September 15, 1784.

William Sheldon might be from Bonsail, as that is where the Sheldons were for a few generations. I have been on the LDS site but am confused with all the Williams!
