Hi Aghadowey,

My apologies if you were confused with my spelling.

I am now even more confused now that I've found the correct spelling.

It seems that the place has two versions, that gives it as Clondermot.

Now my Thomas Daugherty appears  to have been born circa 1777.

Again soo sorry for my pensioner finger.

Thank you in anticipation

Hi there,
Can anyone give me a spelling lesson.
One of my g.g.grand.fathers was born in
Londonderry.
His discharge paper states he was born in
a parish of Derry.
Writing is so bad but it looks like GLENDOONAH.

Hi Fidderslass,

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, there did not appear to be any Thomas Docherty or Daugherty
born in that short time in Tynemouth.

A cousin has said they originally came from Londonderry.
I can focus now on that location.

Thanks,

G'day from a Briech Water Black in Australia.

Skoosh and Forfarian I would appreciate any help as my tree

is becoming stunted and has a lack of growth, in fact I have been

researching the Blacks for the last twenty years.

Thanking you both in anticipation.
