Hi,
There is a record on findmypast in shropshire marriages for Emily Williams and Robert Haynes. The marriage took place on 25th Dec 1897. Emily's father is given as Charles Williams (occ. Collier).
They then appear on the 1901 census at White Horse Lane, Wrockwardine Wood with 2 daughters -
Nelly G & Violet G (RG13/2564/62/19)
Hope this is of help!

Hi Steve,
No problem at all. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I agree, I have the same feeling, it would be a bit of a stretch.
Oddly, whilst poking around online this morning, I came across another Juckes/Anslow marriage. Elizabeth E Juckes and Edward Anslow, Q3 1919, Ludlow! Small world!
Thanks again,
Andrew

Hi Alberbury,
Thanks for the information. Interestingly the Juckes family line that I have been researching does have a connection with Buttington, but only through marriage. George Victor Juckes married Gwenllian Keay in 1927, Gwenllian's brother and sister were born in Buttington. Her mother, Sarah Evans, from Welshpool.

Hi Steve,

Apologies, I meant brother to Richard b.1780 and son of Richard (H)anslow b.1751.

Hi Steve,
Thanks so much for your kind reply and all the information that you have provided, it's most helpful.
Your 'tentative' research is correct, William is indeed my 3x great grandfather. I have his father as Richard Anslow (b.1780). Could it be possible that Susan Anslow's father Samuel was also son of Richard?? All my immediate ancestors (Bytheway/Anslow) are from the Wellington area.
Thanks again,
Andrew

Hi Steve,
I have just discovered this forum whilst doing some research into the Juckes family tree. I immediately saw the link to the Atcherley.org site as I had already found Frances Elizabeth during my research. I have a couple of questions if that's okay?
1. I spotted on your list below the memorial for Susan Anslow Juckes Davies. I note that she is the daughter of Richard Juckes. Is he the Richard b.1825, son of Richard and Frances Elizabeth?
2. Do you happen to know why the name Anslow appears in Susan's name? My own mother's maiden name is Anslow, and I am also researching that family tree. It would be incredible if 2 of my areas of research were to be linked!!

Many thanks for any help you can give.
Kind regards,
Andrew Bytheway

Hi,
I've just joined this forum and immediately found your post from 2009. I am currently doing some research on the Juckes family from High Ercall and was hoping you could help!?
My own research has led me back to Charles Juckes b.1755 and married Mary Randle in 1781. Do you have anything going further back at all? Your help would be gratefully appreciated.

Kind regards,
Andrew
