Thanks for this Jim. You have confirmed what I thought. That this is the same William and Elizabeth living in these different towns.
Do you know who William's parents were? I believe it was John Death and Martha nee Jacob who were living Barrow Suffolk.

Does anyone have any info. on William Death and Elizabeth nee Spells who were married Steeple Essex 1780? Believe they lived in Southminster Essex and Hawstead, Bury St Edmunds, Great Whelnetham and Barrow in Suffolk.

I also have quite a bit of information on the Death family. I know these messages are a few years old now so you have probably answered these queries yourself.
I agree that James and Hannah are Josiah's parents. However I believe James Hately Death was baptised 1782 at Brington Huntingdonshire and his parents were Ambrose and Mary Death.
I also believe Martha who married John Eves was the daughter of Ambrose and Mary too

I have been researching the Death family for many many years and have pages of notes on them.
Not sure whether you have any more info. on Hercules but I believe this is the Hercules Death who had Edmund 1575, John 1576, William 1578, Abell 1581 at Heybridge Essex.
