I would love to find out more about the area called Upper and Lower Penn c1870-1900. My ancestors lived in and around Penn and Sedgely, one farming at Lodge Farm. Are there any nice old photographs, drawings that depict the area at this time? Many thanks

Ayrshire / Martin Cairns Missing on the Mill Trip to Largs 1911

Hi all
Would love to know if anyone else has Martin CAIRNS, born c1863 Ireland who lived and married in Dalry, Ayrshire! He went on the Mill Trip to Largs and never came home. His wife was Janet Reid GAIR was left with 10 children to raise with no monetary help as they never found a body. Does he appear on anyones tree? I can provide more dates and info if required

I have a complicated family history mystery and would like to know more about who may have married Leonard! My research led me to his service record, and I believe he married Elsie Kennett and they had a child (which matches your info!) question is what happened next?! I am not 100% sure that I have the right Elsie so by process of elimination I'm ruling them out systematically! Any help would be much appreciated!
