She was definitely a character and sorely missed. The only sibling I really recall meeting was Arthur and I think he might actually still be alive in Guernsey. I remember Nan used to knit a jumper for all of the brothers she had contact with for Christmas every year.

Oh cool 😊 we're in Australia now, but Betty lived in Guernsey for quite some time when my mum was young. Unfortunately she passed away a few years ago, but it's so nice to know that some of her family is still around!

Hi, I would love to talk to you more about this. My maternal grandmother was Betty Duffy (née Hamon) who was Edith's daughter. 😊
