Hi Chris,
Richard Cobby and Hannah are my 4th great grandparents. I know lots about Richard (smuggling etc), and found his birth in Eastbourne in one of your completed lookups. But i'm still stuck on Hannah. She's buried in All Saints Jan 1840 age 39 so that gives her birth but I don't know her surname,  where she was born, nor can I find a marriage for them. Their children are registered in All Saints.

I grew up on a small farm between Bull Bay and Burwen. One of our neighbouring farms was (is) Gaerwen, well off the beaten track and accessible thro Tyddyn Waen on the A5025. I can imagine a capital G looking like an S?
