Hi Steve,  thanks for your message. Yes I was a natural blonde at tne time and now I'm fair.  Brenda, Mona and myself all had our own rooms in the NAAFI block and if I remember rightly, Mary lived down the road.  I am 70 now and still feel 19 as I was then, working in the NAAFI. Time flies when you're having fun (so they say).
My hobbies are sunbathing (weather permitting), walking my dog and being out in the fresh air, especially in my garden. What do you do in your spare time Steve? Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes Christine

Hello there, I've only just found this site and it takes me back to the year 1963 approximately, when I was working in the NAAFI in Haydock for around 6 months. Can anyone remember what happened to Brenda, Mona and Mary? I also remember Steve  and Alan . My name was Christine xxxxxxx and I worked in the bar and in the shop. Look forward to hearing from anyone who was there.
