Hello Eleri,
I have a Jane Pugh b 1851c, siblings were Dorothy, Eleanor, John and Robert, father was William Pugh and mother Jane, nee Williams.

They were born as far as I know in   Llanfihangel y Traethau Merionethshire.
Jane married a Thomas Owens b same place.

It would be great to find someone with a connection to even a distant part of any of these names.

Thanks for taking the time to reply

Regards Teresa

Hi ems girl
Thanks for taking time to reply. This is one of the certificates I have and I think it is a strong contender as the only information given by Thomas is on his marriage cert and that is his fathers name and occupation and these both tie in. I can't find another family with same names and occupation. Sadly surviving relative cannot remember his birth date and is not convinced this is he as he feels strongly the father was into farming. Not knowing the area I cant comment but I thought there was a railway being laid at that time. However I cannot trace his date of birth, having tried various including writing to the Hospital where he died (they had been destroyed due to time passed). He died in 1968 so cert only shows age.
I guess I may never know and will just have to assume.
Many thanks,

Hi,
I am just posting this in the faint hope that somebody may have this person in their searches, from 1920's I have his details, marriage, families, death. I am searching for his origins, I know he was born in 1890 but not actual date and also that he lived 'at the foot of Snowdon'. His father's name was also Thomas and occupation was plate layer on the railway. I have several birth certificates for the above name from the area of Snowdonia born 1890 but would love to confirm which one is his!
If anyone could help breakdown this brickwall I would be grateful.
