I am the son of Joseph Rae Glass who was the nephew of the Joseph Rae Glass who had a ham curing business in Aberdeen.As a boy my Father was taken to Aberdeen to learn the Ham Curing Business. The advent of the 1st. World War put paid to that career and he served in the battle zone,but saw no action . He married my mother in the early twenties. ^(*) My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Liddell. I am aware of relatives called Hislop and I am trying to trace them I would be interested in hearing from anyone who recognises this information. John Glass
