Some very kind people helped me out with George, I am trying to find out what happened to him , He was on the Eliza 1831, and got a conditional pardon in 1838 after that I have know idea what happened to him, He was born in Downton Wiltshire Uk 1806 to Richard and Sarah Webb, he was married and had two children when he was transported for life , his wife was called Jane, we dont know her maiden name or the childrens names. Could anyone poin tme in the right direction on where I go next.

Also we are trying to Find out what happedned to William Webb, not related to above he was also born in Downton 1810 to Samuel and Elizabeth, he got his free pardon  no251 3rd Feb 1836. we have know other details about him and would love to know more.

Thanks to some very kind rootchatters I have found out alot of information about George Webb , convict Eliza 1831, I know that he got a conditional pardon 5th April 1838, after that I have no idea what happened to him, could somebody point me in the right direction please, He was born in Downton Wiltshire England 1806 his parnets were Richard and Sarah. He was married when he was transported , his wife name was Jane again I not sure what happened to her.

to Debra Annie and Robert, Thank you so very much for the information regarding George and William Webb, It was great to see the images but very sad.

I only found this guy yeterday, so we dont have many details, I have traced to my tree here in uk, but after that we dont have much.
George Webb baorn 1806 Downton Wiltshire
arrived in Australia 29th May 1831 on board the ship Eliza, we have figured that he was transported for something we are guessing for the Swing Riots., we think he died 1832, dont have any further details
Also a William Webb born 1809 Downton Wiltshire , he arrived in Australia on board the Eliza , we dont when or any further details.
Can any one very kind enough to give us some idea on where to start.
