Have just had DNA  results from Ancestry.com. My father and all his family are long time Jersey folk going back to the 13th Century. The result shows 44% Irish. No mention of CI and I am curious to know how this result is achieved. Any thoughts on this appreciated....thank you

Thanks, I will have to delve deeper and find William Wesleys birth date. The thought of twins did occur to me, as well as the fact that he, himself , fathered twin boys....I will be back....

Thanks for your reply. Grand Father was Philip d,auvergne Laffoley born 1862. Brother William Wesley born 1860, sister Maryann born 1855. Father of these Joshua Laffoley and mother Jeanne Le Gresly. Another child named James was mentioned once but never again which led me to believe he died young. All from St. Peter. Jersey. Love Barney, my Henri, a lookalike, died recently and I still mourn him. Still have 4 other Persians so must just get on with life.......

Hi, I went to the 1901 census and under addresses entered Auvergne Lodge. I am trying to find out if my fathers family Laffoley had left Auvergne House and moved to Auvergne Lodge. Oldest son getting the main house, younger son getting the Lodge, The names would be Laffoley. thanks. Oh forgot, St Peter Jersey.
