Hi
I'm also looking for McCrum in my ancestry.

My GG Grandmother born Eliza Anne Burns 12/8/1842 and baptised 16/8/1842. at 3rd Rathfriland Presbyterian and daughter to Joseph Cowan and Jane McCrum.

I have also found her sisters and brothers births in Rathfriland.

Eyla married Samuel Cowan in Newry 1865 they stayed in Newry  (various streets James Street, Talbot street,  Cowan Street, Stream Street) before moving to  the district of Anderston, Glasgow sometime after 1880.
Her name variants  are Elizabeth / Eyla or Eliza  depending on different documents

I am interested in finding out anything more of her mother and father Jane McCrum and Joseph Burns. :)

Thank you Heywood for your reply

Yes I do have  the birth certificates of all her children . And the marriage of John and Hetty I believe may be Elizabeth's Burns brother.

I also have marriages for Margaret Burns/ Patrick Cavanagh 1861 and Sarah Jane Burns/ John Boyd 1861 who I believe might be her sisters

It is more information on Elizabeth Burns  I'm looking for . I don't have a birth/baptism for her or any of the others
Thanks again for your help

Good Morning
I am looking for some/any more information on Elizabeth Burns married to Samuel Cowan 1865 Newry Ireland her father was either Joseph Burns( stated in marriage) or William Burns (stated on death), her mother was Jane (poss)McCrum.
According to the 1921 census she was staying with her daughter Sarah Alexander and husband in Springburn Road Glasgow. She was 78yrs and census states that she  was born Down, Rathfriland. I have information on her life in Scotland , very limited on her lif and family in Ireland.
I have tried Roots Ireland and Ancestry with no success .
Any idea's where I could look now?

 I have an ancestor

George Gault/Galt born 1868 Partick Parents William Galt and Jane Freckleton

married Mary Kinney/Kenny 1895 Partick her parents Andrew Kinney and Maria/Mary Golden/Goldie

George died 14/5/1933 130 Castlebank street Partick ( Mary widow present)

Mary died 8/4/1932 widow of George  Gault at 130 Castlebank Street Partick

My question is how could she be present at her husband George death if she was all ready dead her self :o
I have looked for the possibility that i have made a mistake. but all information on parents and addresses all match up.
Have I missed something or has there been and error  when recording death .
