Gloucestershire / William Willcox/Wilcox b1813 Bristol - Help!

Please help - 15 years of research have revealed a lot about William's ancestors and decendants, but he remains a mystery.

William Willcox

Christening 25 April 1813 and  living in Lime Kiln Lane – St Augustines, Bristol
Parish Register uses Wilcocks. Parents noted as Wilcox(Parents James Wilcox and Sarah Payne).

Married 8 Jun 1835 to Cecilia Hobbs (b.1816- d.1857) - St John, Bedminster. He signs - she puts 'her mark'.

1837 dau. Eliza born

1 Jun 1838 Son James Born

21 August 1838: Bristol Burgess Book - No 307
"William Wilcox Ship Smith is admitted into the liberties of this City for that he is the son of James Wilcox, Smith and Farrier deceased and hath taken the Oath of Obedience and paid £0 3s 4d"

14 Mar 1841 Son Richard born

1841 Census – only wife and children found

No other census or death information found, other than on childrens’ birth and marriage records, he is described as Ships Smith (no indication of ‘deceased’)

James W W was my g-grandfather. He was married to Eliza Wheeler. Their da. Florence married a Sellick and emigrated to Australia in 1927ish.
I only joined this forum today, so will need time to get my act together to find out how to send you a GEDCOM. In the meantime;
The 1901 census adds many more children.
There are two enigmas - the eldest sibling (my Gt Aunt Em) and Frederick (age 4 in 1901) who can't be found in the GRO births (yet)
