Hi Graham,
I went to a cemetery in the Lahore Cantonment today and created a cemetery page in findagrave.com. It is for "Gora Kabristan at Nishat Colony" and here is the link:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2588500
This cemetery is within the Cantonment, and it contains British Army graves from the mid-to-late 19th century (and possibly later). I had opportunity to photograph only 17 monuments, all of which are recorded in findagrave. The cemetery is overgrown and in a sad condition, plus it is monsoon season here and it was starting to rain hard, plus I was attracting a bit too much attention, so I needed to make my exit fairly quickly.
Now that I have an idea what to expect, I am hoping to return next Sunday, hopefully I can get along a bit better. What is the name of your relative? I will see if I can find him.
Cheerio,
Scooter T
