thank you so much annette, yes i made another post just to focus on margaret but i will inform anyone else looking into this that i have found a good solid foundation to start with and will do some looking before reposting any more questions or asking for any other help  thanks you everyone sooo much i appreciate everything!

Annette if you dont mind me getting back to you, i will look for as much info as i can to validate your find and if it ends up being the same margarett I would love to see what you have found!

my great grandmother has me completely stumped, i can not find any information about her parents
i do know that she was born (i think may 18) 1884 in perthshire scotland, died in 1980 in alberta canada. had a husband thomas Mccreath. i have found her and thomas's grave with birth and death years in blackfalds alberta canada but other then that i have nothing for information i would really like to fine out more. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

i looked at that link you sent me and i have come across that before  the thing is in a family picture i have thomas has sibbling but there names do not all match up i know for a fact his sibblings are david, thomas, william, james, huge, harry, mathew, mae, jean and jake

iam not 100% sure if thomas was born in canada and yes he would be the son of david and jessie, i will have to look into the birth date of thomas because on his grave it does state 1877 as well on a picture i have of thomas and his family.  and i do believe the did get married late in life. but i can not seem to find any info on margaret walker thomas's wife

thanks carol.  would you be willing to help me with one more thing?  my great grandmother Margaret Mccreath(nee) Walker born 1884 died 1980 married to Thomas Mccreath born 1877 died 1971. I have been unable to find anything on Margaret all i have come across is a grave with the above information on it. they are burried in blackfalds alberta canada, they were married in 1921 in canada i believe but that is it for any info i have on her. i cant find a birth cert or a death cert or a marriage cert. something with her parents names on it.    thanks so much
