Hi Blue70

I have just been going through my old emails and realised I did not bring you up to date. My sister and I found the family grave unfortunately unmarked. Our plan is to have our parents ashes buried there and a new headstone erected with all the family names inscribed on it.

Thank you all for you assistance it is greatly appreciated by us all.

Oh I see, it's all quite interesting. We have been in touch with the Archdiocese and have been sent the relevant paperwork to fill in to enable the deeds to be put in one of our names. It appears it's quite straight forward and therefore we will be able to lay both our parents to rest there.

Thank you all on this forum for all your assistance, it's really appreciated

Yes Blue

My apologies, it was for this thread - I didn't realise I had sent it as a pm! So sorry.

However, my sister has asked how you can gain access so quickly to these requests, how you get your information?

Hi Gibel

Thank you for taking time out to give me this information, I will contact them. I think I will have to meet with somebody there as I don't know how we go about getting permission to lay Mum to rest there (if we can). I don't know if we need deeds or anything official to gain access, our Mum was the last one of her family but it would be very fitting if we could lay her back with them all. We have both Mum's and Dad's ashes that we need to lay.

Good afternoon Marianne

Thank you so much, I really do appreciate your time.

Maybe you or somebody else can also help me with this. Is there a quick way of finding out where in the cemetery the plot is or is it a case of walking around until you find it?

Warm regards

Hello again Blue,
Is there a link for a map of the cemetery to find the grave quite easily do you know?

Thank you

Hello
It's been suggested I try this link to try and find the burial plot of my Auntie. She passed away 6th December 1965. I am 100% certain she is in the same plot as her parents  Yew Tree Cemetery grave 2D 291. Apparently Yew Tree's burial records ended in 1965. I'm hoping somebody on this link can give me the last piece of the jigsaw so to speak. My Aunties name is Joan Johnston(e)/Johnson, maiden name Handley. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Warm regards
