Seeking information on ancestors buried in the Old Kilpatrick church yard cemetery .
They are Margaret Phillips (nee Neil) died 19 March 1857
David Phillips died 14 December 1858
Margaret Phillips (nee Muir) died 11 March 1862

Seeking information on Margaret Jane Blair (Peggy). She had a daughter Sarah Mcallister (1873) on whose birth registration her father was named as John McAlister.

Peggy died in Dunserverick in 1919. On the 1911 census she was down as a postcard seller.

seeking information on her birth c1840 and marriage to John Mcallister

The only information that I have is from her death certificate which states that she was 72 when she died in July 1889 at 12 Ann Street Greenock.
She was the widow of John Nairn and mother-in-law of Barbara Nairn. Barbara was the common law with of Alexander Nairn.
Her parents were John Petrie soldier deceased and Elizabeth Petrie nee Bain who was also deceased

According to 1851 through to the 1881 census she was born in Ceres and lived in Cupar.

John Nairn was born in Cupar in 1807.
Elizabeth Petrie born c1815.
No record of when or if they were married.
John's parents were Alexander Nairn and Helen Carnegie

Hi,
I would like to know if there is any record in Markinch or Cupar referring toJohn Nairnwho died in the Markinch Poorhouse in July 1887.
He originally came from Cupar and was born in 1807 and married/lived with Elizabeth Petrie who subsequently died at her son Alexander's home in Greenock in 1889
