I write on behalf of the Henley-on-Thames Archaeological and Historical Group.
Your father was minister at the Henley-on-Thames Congregational Church from 1945 to 1950. In 1948 he wrote a booklet about Humphrey Gainsborough, engineer and inventor, also minister at that church 1748-1776. We have a copy of the booklet in our archive and wish to make it more readily available to our members on our website:
