Hi Marilyn

I am researching two of the family names you have listed:- Morris and Syme.  My grandmother was Margaret Syme bn St David's, Dalgety,  and my gt grandmother Margaret Morris also born St David's.  Have you come across any links to these families in the parishes of Inverkeithing, Dalgety and Aberdour?  What is your connection?

Regards
Tricia

I will keep you informed if I come across further booklets etc on Tintown, Rosyth.      My mum remembers it well.

Hi

There is a book called 'Tintown Revisited' which can be purchased through Fife Family History Society website.  Also try Dunfermline Library, Local History Dept who have a huge collection of photographs of the areas surrounding Dunfermline.

Hi Peter

I've just read the name your interested in, Hay.  I have lots of friends who are Hay's living in Rosyth area. If you find the details your are looking for I would be more than happy to photograph the grave/area for you.

Best wishes

Hi Peter

Douglas Bank cemetery at Pattiesmuir springs to mind as soon as I read your posting.  It's a good walk from Backmarch Road.  It actually lies between Rosyth and Limekilns, not sure, but I think its the A985 (drive it everyday too).

Research has taken me to Donibristle - would you know anything about "The Tavern, Hill End" and/or family of the name GEDDES
I believe a daughter went to Canada - Vancouver Island.

Any help appreciated
With thanks
