Hello,
I am a descendant of James Gollogly born 1 May 1853 Keady, Armagh, Ireland.
who is the son of Denis Gollogly/Golligly born about 1824 possible Armagh or Scotland
and Margaret Kearny.
Many of my Gollogly family line traveled back in forth to Scotland.
In my research I have found Gollogly's with various spelling.
Wondering if you have came across any connections to Gollogly's from Keady, Armagh.
B.G.

I have Alexander's and Milikens in my family tree.
Nathaniel and Agnes Alexander immigrated to Chicago, Illinois listed as my great grandparents Aunt and Uncle.
Bobby and Oliver Milliken form Northern Ireland who resided in Keady, Armagh, Scotland, Dublin and Leeds. I believe their mother was Annie Gollogly

How did you find out the Gallagher was a misspelling for Gollogly again?

Peter John 1890 Armagh is my great grandpa.
Not sure about WW I record, is it for UK or US.
Peter was in Scotland in 1919.
John gillogly, I don't believe is my ggrandpa, I've not found a record with the name John for him.

Also, my grandfather Hugh Gallagly was born in Motherwell, Scotland.

The family traveled back and forth from Keady Armagh - to Motherwell Scotland, for work I believe.
That's why my grandfather was born in Scotland and not Keady Armagh.
