Looking for information on Annie Burns of Cumberland, born in 1884. She was married to Patrick McCann in 1908. She had three children Mae, Thomas, and John before she died in 1914. Mae and Thomas Came to America with their Aunt Margret Whitten in 1918.Their father, Patrick, had remarried. What I am wondering is who he remarried, and who Annie's parents were. Her father's name may have been John Byrne, but I don't know when the spelling of the last name may have changed.  If anyone knows any information, I would be so grateful for some leads! Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the quick and thorough reply! It is fantastic and helpful. Margaret Whitten was Mae McCann (my great grandmother's) aunt. Her name was changed to Whitten for passage. Because of this,(as your records show) Mae is often listed as daughter to Harry and Margaret Whitten. I do not know who her parents were. I know her mother died when she was young and her father and step mother continued to reside in England.
