@GR2 - Do you think then, it's possible for them to be the same family?
I'm new to this site and I happened to come across your post. Don't know if it will help in any way but Welltress Square was only built in the early 1970's after the towns tannery was demolished. There was a Welltrees Street. Maybole has a very good web site of their own and there are plenty of people who would be willing to help.
