thanks again for this info. it seems that Daniel the king named nearly all his daughters after his aunts [patricks sisters] if it wasn't for the dates I would have thought it was michaels sisters. It can be quite confusing but I think Im getting my head round it. Would still love to find out more about Michael. have I read somewhere that the next Irish census is coming out early or am I mistaken. That would maybe help in my search about Michael. Thanks again for your help.  agnes

thankyou for the link mary I have already been in touch with this lady she gave me a lot of information regarding michaels family. Could I ask if you have any dates regarding Patricks father and mother Daniel and Margaret or any other information regarding them. Michael came to Scotland in 1946 he would have been in his 30s.  His travel card was c/o sarah Cassidy garvaugh. We know nothing of his time in Ireland. thanks Agnes

Hi Im new to this and came across this by accident. My husband is the grandson of Daniel the king Okane from formil. I am looking for information regarding Michael [daniels son] brn1913. we would like to know more about his life up to 1946 when he came to Scotland. I have information kindly given to us by another member of this family regarding his brothers and sisters but we don't know anything about his life in Ireland any information or old photos of Michael would be great. thanks
