Hi everyone,
My name is George Peel and apparently I'm a direct descendent of John Peel the Huntsman! From what I have heard, one of John Peel's sons moved to an area in or around Livingston in Scotland. There is a lot of streets, parks and housing districts that where named in the family's honour during settlements of the time.
I'd like to find out what son that it was that I'm connected too! If anyone can share with me any info they have, I'd be grateful
My grandfather who I was named after was George Russell Peel. He was a miner when he was 12 and later a farmer.....His wife was Mary (May) Deans
