Hi John,
I believe you are a son of 'Nancy' and Harry Hoolihan. Nancy was the daughter of Delia [Bridget].
Delia was my Aunt and sister to Joe Taylor, my father.
I was speaking to Jimmy Toohey [aged 91] yesterday, by coincidence. I have  a lot of info re Taylors and some re Tooheys.
Over to you.

I have details of: Thomas Gleeson married Ann Taylor 16/9/1900 at Ballynaclough [Ballynclock]/Silvermines, a district near Nenagh. They had children: Mary Ellen 1901; Thomas 1903; Annie 1904; Maggie 1905; William 1906.
Any help?

Hi
in trawling the net I came across this entry- which led me to join rootschat.com- who advised me how to make this reply. I realise that your enquiry is now well outdated but wondered whether we might assist each other or even be researching the same family.
My interest is in the origins of William Taylor born in 1834 in Basingstoke. I have most of his subsequent history but have met a brickwall in trying to trace his birth/baptism. All I do know is that his father was named Thomas and William's older brother was named Henry but did not survive.
Are you interested in what I have and/or can you help me in any way?
Thanks,
Fred Taylor

I am not sure what RootsChat.com can do for me. I registered because I saw that someone called Noycie who posted an interest in the name of Taylor in Basingstoke in 1841,on 4th Sept 2007. It was answered by Eyesee on same date. How do I contact these people? Also, is there a way of researching whether anyone else has this common interest? Sorry if the answers are obvious but I have gone round in circles so far.
