I am the Grandson of Peter Horan and Emily O Brien, the son of Gerry Horan their youngest child. Peters parents were based in Grangecon Co Wicklow in the 19th century. Following Army service abroad they located in Drumcondra Dublin. Emily moved to Cork and lived with her daughter Aggie in Riverstown Cork, Peter followed at a later stage, both Peter and Emily are buried in Rathcooney Cemetary in Cork. Three of their children made their lives in Cork, Aggie married Andrew Mylod and had 6 children, Vera married John O Keefee and had 3 children and Gerry married Nora Murphy and had 3 children of whom I am one.
