hi, my late father was William Morris born 25th Jan 1923 in or around openshaw Manchester , his mother was Mary Elizabeth Gloag born in Perth Scotland and his father was William Morris whos family came from Welshpool in Wales . my fathers siblings were Edward , Ronald , Mary , Lily , Elsie . my father had a aunty Bertha ,Harriett, and I know he had an uncle Ned I think he was on his fathers side . I also know that my great grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Gloag born Barnes . I don't have many dates as I have only just started to trace back but someone on here I think he calls himself old boy is looking to trace Morris family from Wales and I think its my family but I don't know how to contact him . can anyone help please .

hi , I am trying to trace back my fathers family , his mother was Mary Elizabeth Gloag . born in perth Scotland she then came to Manchester where she met and married William Morris from Welshpool Wales , I know on her fathers death certificate her father was a stagecoach builder . please can anyone help with my search ....
