  Various spelling under this name . Trying to relate to those of the family in Dublin
I too would love to know the answer. My line is Bloomfield/Mahoney. I've traced back to the 1820's

As you may have guessed that was me.

  I've traced much of my families even back to Viking king but Alexander's & the troubles it's very difficult.

William Alexander. B. 30/06/1826. D. 17/01/1892. married Fanny (or Frances)Geraldine Alexander nee Armstrong13/01/1856. she B. 1825? D.05/08/1888.
William's father was Thomas ('gent') married before  1823? Ann Carroll at Ballinasloe. Her father was Thomas Carroll.
 His father Thomas is the one who I would really like to find. or the Carroll's side of the family

Frances Anne Alexander  B.1865 sister to John Armstrong-Alexander.
