Family History Beginners Board / Duel marriages and baptisms

This is just a general question.
Some of my ancestor's were baptised in a catholic church, then later baptised again in a c of e church. This was in the 1850s and 1860s. I also have ancestor's who in 1820 were married in a catholic church, and two days later were married in a c of e church.
