The ship Tornado left from Liverpool.
My ancestor, Ellen Austin of County Cork, Ireland travelled to Melbourne on that ship.
During the voyage there was an uprising / Mutiny,  on the Tornado.
There are articles on Trove about the Mutiny.

thank you very much for the information on Hannah Hooper and her parents.

This gives me a new set of g.g.g.g grandparents.

It's interesting, we have heard that the Vautins are related to a quite 'famous' person in Australian sport. 
Paul "fatty" Vautin played rugby in Australian NRL.
Since he retired he has hosted a tv show around NRL.
Haven't worked out the line.  But a bit of interest.

My main interest is Richard White, but it's good to fill in the others.

Well,  the BICE FAMILY is very interesting.

I have only gone back as far as Luke Bice 1790 and Grace Webb

Then their son Francis Bice 1808 married to Eliza Barwis ,   then their son Francis John 1832 then my great grandfather Luke Bice b. 1863 in Victoria Australia married to Sarah Ann Allen.

Thank you for sending me the link to the death notices.  I had not seen them before.  Mainly concentrated on Richard (Dicky) White.   
I have been having trouble,  don't know how to do it,   print the articles  in normal text,

I am wondering if these are the same people as my husbands Great Grandparents
Ann 1835 - 1881  Thomas 1827,  they had Lillian Maud Harrison who married Abraham Thomas George White,  Tasmania.
I dont have any other information on Ann and Thomas, and would love to know if they are the same.   Thanks
