Hi. I'm afraid I haven't been very busy in this area over the last couple years. I did get together a bit of information about Hannah.

Thanks KGarrad. Sorry I haven't been on this website for so long - well since November last year! I still haven't found any Coe relatives, but if I keep digging I just might....

Thanks everyone. There are so many clever people on this website.

I have hopefully attached marriage image for JHF and ESB. I lists the residence for both of them as Aston Manor, and Elizabeth's father as Thomas.

Jim1 yes that is definitely the family. That is the family that came to Australia in 1869. I've got that end of the story covered, as well as the Fuller side, so I'm just trying to dig in to Elizabeth's story a bit more. Interesting that the name Shuttleworth is basically defined as being born in Lancashire, Derbyshire & West Yorkshire.

I am trying to find information about Thomas Bell - birth and death if possible. His daughter Elizabeth Shuttleworth Bell married John Henry Fuller 5th March 1853 in Aston, Warwick. According to the marriage licence Thomas Bell was a manufacturer. I think Elizabeth was born in Liverpool.

Cornwall / Coe family

Apparently my (Australian) grandfather visited relatives in Cornwall when he was on leave during World War I, with the surname Coe.

My Mum told me this and I'm afraid that's all I have to go on. My grandfather was Victor de Vaux Dorset Fuller. I've been trying to find the Coe relationship but so far I haven't found anything.

I've found my Fuller links in Wells, Somerset. One line I haven't followed through yet is Hannah Fuller who married Thomas Grey 18/3/1857 Wakefield All Saints Yorkshire.

Is Coe a common name in Cornwall?

I have found a John Fuller on the Passenger list of the ship St. Paul which departed Southampton 24/7/1897 bound for New York. JHLF would have been 60 at this time. At this stage I'm going to claim him as John Henry Long Fuller, presumably going to see his Uncle James Cannings Fuller.

After some research on James Cannings, turns out he was a Quaker and helped slaves to escape.

Googling. I was really happy to find a site that didn't require my credit card.

Hmmm...JHF and ESB did have their first baby 3 weeks after they were married. I guess stranger things have happened??   ;)
I will investigate if JHLF came to Australia, or maybe he went to Uncle James in New York.

Fabulous. Thanks.

I still can't see the 1841 census record. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I can see the image for the birth of Bonville Fuller. I do have access to the 1841 census on Ancestry.com.au however I'm drawing a blank when I search for Fullers.

So if John Henry Long Fuller was a travelling salesman, he could have ended up anywhere I suppose.
