Staffordshire / Eastwall, Cheadle 1841 census
« on: Sunday 03 January 21 20:12 GMT (UK)  »
I was wondering where the Eastwall of Cheadle would be from the 1841 census?
I can find an Eastwall farm that is near the river Churnet.   Since most people in this area of the census appear to boatsman, I wondered if the Churnet would be the river they were working on?

Thank you in advance for your time

I just want to apologize for the late response.

Thank you so much taramcdsmall for all your work.   For some reason I did not get back to this question.(probably a illness in the family)

I just want to THANK you again for all your suggestions and I will look into them now.

Again, so sorry.

Do you think he was sent there?
His family would have been in Staffordshire.

My great uncle Frederick Booth enlisted for the first world war at 15 years old. (and  91 lbs).  He was then discharged because of his age.
His intended place of residence is listed as Trinity Schools.  Ford.   Conventry
I was wondering if anyone knew where/what this would be

Thank you for your time

Thank you all so much

It makes sense that Hannah is boarding with the Lathams since this would be the family her mother married into.

I see that Maria's oldest brother is Joseph.
That is maybe where Hannah got the idea from
